Since 1996 INTAC, as an all-round support desk mainly for overseas travel insurance, has been offering services world-wide such as receiving of accident notices, arrangements for hospitals/clinics, guidance on and reservation of tied-up deposit-free hospitals, guarantee for payment of medical expenses, guidance on the procedure for claiming benefits, information on agencies overseas with whom a request for a claim can be filed, transportation of patients/deceased, reservations of hotels and airlines for rescuers, travel assistance, etc.
On the monthly average we attend to 13 to 15 cases of transporting patients from overseas countries to Japan. Thus we have accumulated sufficient know-how on the transportation of patients. We also provide foreigners with domestic assistance services, making the most of our expertise in overseas travel insurance, which are much appreciated by foreign companies doing business in Japan. |
