 INTAC offers assistance services 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. In the event that overseas visitors have some problem because of an injury or illness during their stay in Japan on business or for pleasure, INTAC is ready to find a hospital or clinic for them and guarantee the payment of medical expenses on their behalf. If they are hospitalized, INTAC will contact a doctor of medicine in charge to verify the extent of the injury or illness, and will make arrangements for the transportation of patients or the deceased from the hospital or clinic to another medical institution, or to their home countries, with the accompaniment of a doctor and/or nurse, whenever such need arises. |
